Yvonne C. Bryant – 2012 MDA Jailbird

Yvonne holds additional leadership positions within Toastmasters International and District 26 Toastmasters. Toastmasters is a non-profit organization that provides communication and leadership training in a supportive environment. Yvonne served Summit Toastmasters, as President (2010-2011) and Vice-President of Education (2011-2012, 2012-2013).  As President, she focused on helping members find their voices and become the speakers and leaders that they wanted to be.  She established a series of club level speech contests for members to test their new skills out in.  As the Vice-President of Education, Yvonne works with members to identify their personal communication and leadership goals.  She then creates learning opportunities that can be carried to other organizations and businesses.

She is serving her second term as Area Governor working with clubs on the Western Slopes of Colorado from Summit County to Grand Junction and Delta.  Yvonne works with club leaders and members on their goal and helps with long term strategic initiatives.  With the support of District 26 Toastmasters, Yvonne established a Grand Junction Leadership Institute in 2012 that meets twice a year to train current and future members interested in leadership.

She has served on numerous committees, chairs and boards for the American Institute of Architects over the last 10 years. Yvonne currently serves as the Summit/Grand County Director (2011-2013) for the AIA Colorado West Chapter.

Yvonne is available to present communication and leadership topics to nonprofits.  As Mrs. Summit County 2013, she is happy to make appearances to support your efforts.
